Thomasville, Georgia based Flowers Foods, Inc. has issued a voluntary recall on its Tastykake cupcake product, effective 10/31/21. The recall stems from the possible presence of small fragments of metal wire mesh.
The issue was discovered by a vendor who then notified Flowers Foods. There have not been any injuries.
The product in question was distributed among the following states: Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington DC, and West Virginia.
