New Jersey Business recently reported that The New Jersey Restaurant and Hospitality Association has chosen Amanda Stone to be the new Government Affairs Director.  Stone will be working directly with NJRHA President and CEO Dana Lancellotti.  Her duties will center around advocating for policies that support the needs of the hospitality sector.

Stone will bring with her a deep knowledge of public service and communications skills, despite graduating from college only a decade ago. Below is a look at Ms. Stone’s work history in that brief ten years.

2011: Graduated Cum Laude from the University of South Florida with a journalism degree that focused on mass communications.

2011-2014: Reporter for The Coast Star newspaper in Monmouth County.

2014-2016: Legislative Director for former Assemblyman and Conference Leader Dave Rible.

2016-2017:  Communications Coordinator and Speechwriter for former Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno.

2017-2018: Confidential Aide to Monmouth County Commissioner Director Tom Arnone.

2018-2021: Monmouth County Director of Tourism.
