The new rewards program from Delta Airlines and Starbucks will allow anyone currently enrolled in both Delta Skymiles and Starbucks Rewards to link their accounts. As of yesterday, members with linked accounts will earn one Skymile for every dollar spent on eligible products at Starbucks. Similarly, enrolled members with a scheduled Delta flight will earn double stars on eligible products at participating Starbucks.

“Starbucks Rewards and Delta SkyMiles are centered on creating moments of meaningful connection, and by bringing together two of the country’s most celebrated loyalty programs we are able to reward our members with more of what they love,” said Ryan Butz, vice president, loyalty strategy and marketing at Starbucks. “We are excited to partner with Delta to offer our members even more valuable benefits, as well as invite more customers to join Starbucks Rewards.”

As part of the rollout, Starbucks and Delta will also be giving anyone linking their accounts between October 12th and December 31st a bonus of 500 miles and 150 stars once they make or have made a qualifying purchase. Moreover, any Delta passenger that left Seattle yesterday was given a Starcard worth 150 stars redeemable at any Starbucks. And lastly, Diamond and Platinum Skymiles members will have a new Choice Benefit of 4,000 stars annually starting in 2024.

Anyone interested in linking accounts or creating new accounts can visit Starbucks or Delta to sign up.
